- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (for breadcrumbs, optional)
Cook the elbow macaroni in a large pot of salted water until al dente, about 7-8. Drain and set aside.
Shred the cooked chicken and mix with BBQ sauce in a large mixing bowl.
Add cooked macaroni, milk, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt to the chicken mixture. Stir until well combined.
Stir in shredded sharp cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, reserving some for topping.
Transfer mixture to a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Top with breadcrumbs mixed with olive oil and reserved cheeses. Bake at 350°F for 25-30 until bubbly and golden brown.
