Ingredients
  

Bananas

  • 2 pieces ripe bananas Provide natural sweetness and moisture.
  • 2 cups rolled oats A great source of fiber.
  • 1/2 cup almond milk Can substitute with any milk of choice.
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup Adds sweetness and binds ingredients.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract For flavor boost.
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon Adds warmth and depth.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt Enhances flavors.
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts Walnuts or pecans for crunch.
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional) For a sweet treat.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  • Mash the 2 ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  • In another bowl, combine rolled oats, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  • Add almond milk, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas and stir until well combined.
  • Pour the dry ingredients into the wet mixture and stir gently until fully incorporated. Fold in nuts or chocolate chips if using.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then lift out and cool completely on a wire rack before cutting into bars.
