  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup apple cider
  • 1 cup chopped dried apples

  • Mix the dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a bowl.
  • Cream the softened butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Combine the wet and dry ingredients, adding the egg and vanilla, then mix until just combined.

Notes

Consider adding a glaze made from powdered sugar and apple cider for extra sweetness.
