  • ½ teaspoon black pepper provides a mild kick
  • 1 cup beef broth keeps patties moist
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese melts beautifully on top
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil used for sautéing
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Gather ground beef and break it apart in a large mixing bowl.
  • Mix in sautéed onions and mushrooms, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  • Shape the mixture into 4 to 6 uniform patties.
  • Sear the patties in a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
  • Arrange the browned patties in a greased baking dish and pour beef broth over them.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 25-30 minutes, then add cheese and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
